BankNews Publications has been committed to the banking industry for more than a century. Through its flagship publications, BankNews and Western Banking, as well as through its well-respected bank directories, the company has demonstrated not only its commitment to the industry but also its expertise in publishing management and knowledge of banking and financial markets.

This commitment, in turn, has been applied to our longstanding publishing partnerships with banking and financial associations across the country. BankNews’ Contract Publishing division provides these associations with a wide range of services and capabilities.

In today’s competitive and rapidly changing environment, associations must remain diligent in their commitment to serving their members, retaining these members and attracting new members. Publishing an association magazine oftentimes becomes too daunting a task for a small staff with limited resources — demanding extensive (and expensive) time and expertise in editorial, ad sales, design, print production and distribution.

Yet a well-designed, content-rich, glossy publication not only enhances the association’s image; it also is an essential informational and revenue-generating tool, and a valuable and requisite resource for its members. This is where our Contract Publishing services come into play. We create professional publications at little cost or financial risk to associations, while allowing them to communicate more effectively with their current members, as well as to recruit new members, sell other association services and increase conference attendance.

BankNews’ Contract Publishing division partners exclusively with financial and banking associations to publish high-quality magazines, newsletters and collateral materials. We contract with associations to provide editorial, design, printing, advertising sales, collections and distribution services that are custom-designed to meet the association’s needs — whether producing publications on a weekly, monthly, bimonthly, quarterly or annual basis.

For state banking or trade associations currently publishing their own magazines in-house but seeking outside assistance, we offer a complete turnkey publishing solution, as well as independent advertising sales representation. We also partner with associations seeking to start a new magazine for its members. In addition, we provide design and printing services for an association’s collateral material, including brochures, reports, member directories and newsletters.
